Keysight Technologies is partnering with SGS in Taiwan for LTE-A 3DL CA conformance test cases validation for GCF and PTCRB approval. Keysight recently introduced a new test platform, the TP195, to support the evolution of LTE standards. The same test platform is able to execute RF and RRM conformance tests.
Collaborating with SGS will help Keysight speed up the GCF/PTCRB approval process and make the TP195 test system available for the wireless industry users for validation of their LTE-Advanced devices. Keysight and SGS worked together to establish the LTE-Advanced 3DL CA test capability and is now ready to serve the industry’s customers.
TP195 is positioned to support and keep pace with the evolved GCF and PTCRB requirements. The TP195 was among the first test platform to validate section 8 3DL CA test cases in PVG#71. With this announcement, Keysight continues to be on the leading edge of support for the 3DL CA requirements of RFT-124 (PTCRB) and WI-231 (GCF).
“Our partnership with Keysight is bringing advantage for SGS’ customers,” said Joe Chen, Director at SGS. “Together, we can help our customers speed up adoption of the latest LTE-Advanced technologies and make sure product design are compliant with the specification.”
“We are delighted to have partnered with a leading test lab like SGS in validating the LTE Advance radio conformance solutions,” said Satish Dhanasekaran, general manager, Mobile Broadband Operation, Keysight. “This engagement is a recognition of our ability to deliver industry leading test solutions for 4G. Partnering with SGS enabled us to accelerate the deployment of testing solutions that will accelerate time to market for our wireless customers.”
The Keysight T4010S LTE RF tester is the most comprehensive tool for LTE UE RF parametric verification and characterisation. This top-of-the-line test system meets the needs of early development, R&D, conformance and certification testing.
The T4010S LTE RF tester implements RF measurements according to 3GPP TS 36.521-1 in its conformance version, while its R&D version provides users with all the necessary tools to develop fully customised test cases, either founded on the 3GPP defined test cases, or completely new ones.
Keysight’s new test platform is based on the E7515A UXM wireless test set, the advanced next-generation wireless test equipment. In addition to being used in the conformance system, it also has been widely adopted by wireless customers, including chipset vendors, mobile device makers as well as test labs and regulators.
